Always a favorite for wonderful ice cream cones, fried clams, and classic takeout food!!

Jordan's is a family favorite. I've been going since it was called the D & E. The onion rings are always fantastic. Shared fried clams and shrimp with two of my girls. The rest had burgers. We all had root beer floats.... everything was delicious...as always.

Been going to Jordan's since I was a little kid 45+ years. My parents would take us kids to Winter Harbor for the day with a picnic lunch and stop in for ice cream. Seen a lot of changes. Good times at Jordan's.😀😎

This is my favorite restaurant in the Bar Harbor area. It’s worth the trip off the island. Price is great, cost is reasonable, dining area outside is perfection! They are run efficiently. Don’t let the line run you off. It’s a very good indicator of the quality of food you are going to get. They move along quickly, and your food will be fresh and amazing. I have had all of their seafood and fish and never had a complaint. I can’t give more than 5 stars or I would!

Family tradition for decades. This is America!Great Lobster rolls, burgers and ice cream. On certain nights they have live music. If you are ever travelling Route 1 in Maine then this is a must stop. Great job Jordans. Keep it up.

Only had ice cream but that was all I needed. Very quick service. Lots of smiles from our server.

I used to love this place, my favorite place for fried clams. Change of ownership a couple of year's ago has made a difference. Clams have gone up in price, but the quantity keeps shrinking. I will not go back again.

Lots of food options (lobster rolls, clam chowder, hot dogs, etc ). You order at the window and there's seating inside and out. There are washrooms inside. There's a playground outside. Nice spot for a casual meal, especially with kids.

You're looking for good food with some ice cream afterwards highly recommended a lot of parking indoor eating area if you want it outside picnic tables around suppertime get there early or you'll be standing in line they even have a gaming area for children Outback

A small outdoor restraunt with a dining room near by. Great for quick food with seafood and burgers. Must try for a taste of Maine.

We had a variety of food. Hot dig had two thumbs up from my granddaughter. Chicken fingers got 1 thumbs up from my grandson and granddaughter, the lobster roll was stuffed with meat, the salads fresh!

I've literally been involved with this place since I was born. The original owner visited my parents in the hospital when I was born. They were one of the absolute nicest families in the Ellsworth area. Even though the family is no longer affiliated with this snack bar, the new owners are keeping it up to the original standards.If you're heading to bar harbor, passing through Ellsworth, in the Ellsworth area for any reason, swing by Jordans.

Great atmosphere!I like Jordan's because is has been a tradition, it's part of Summer. The food is not great but it is what it is.I wish they would change it up a little, make a better burger, maybe different frys.

Great place to take the family or hang with friends. Outdoor seating was very nice. Great variety of food.

The place to go in Ellsworth to get Downeast seafood. Mostly deep fried but lobster rolls too. Reasonable priced good food and ice cream. Calling ahead can save waiting in line even if you are going to eat inside.

Terrific fried seafood, fries and onion rings. Burgers made from fresh ground beef. It is always hot fresh and served with a smile.

On our first day in Maine, it was suggested we stop at Jordan's Snack Bar for a good seafood lunch. The locals recommended the lunch platter. It was very busy with most folks getting their ice cream on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered the lunch to share, and it was served with an extra roll and extra slaw. There was plenty of food for two. We ate at a picnic table under a shade tree near a small stream. The place is larger than it appears, with a large playground area in the back for the kids, and a sizable dining room if you wish to eat inside. What a way to start a great vacation on the Maine coast!

Always know I'll have a fresh, tasty meal here. Haddock and fresh onion rings, yum!

Food was great. People were very friendly. Ice cream was delicious. Had a wide assortment of food and everything was very tasty.

Had a lobster roll and crab roll both where excellent. We also had some of the best onion rings ever. All most worth the trip just for the onion rings.

Food is great, comes quick Indoor or out seating. Clam shack on steroids!

First visit this season. It is as good as always. New owners are carrying on the tradition of great food and reasonable prices. Will be back many times again this year.

The food here is decent and the camp-like atmosphere is great for kids.

Great take-out food, my haddock sandwich was fresh and delicious and the rest of my group was happy with their meals and ice creams as well. Prices were reasonably and service was fast and friendly. This would be a great place to go with kids--plenty of room for them to run around, plus there's a small playground and a game room behind the main building. We will definitely return here next year!

I go every summer. Delicious food - including crinkle-cut fries - and lots of fun options for the kids. I wish it was closer to home so I could go more often - another reason I would like to move to Maine!

Delicacy for sure. It is pricey... a turned hand of owner's. I hope they're there for another 50 years. Car shows.... music... that all was great

Awesome I had a bacon cheeseburger the first time I went there and it had a perfect blend of flavor and I had the haddock the second time I went the portion for the large haddock was huge!!! I didn't even get fries with it and I still couldn't finish it, the fish was cooked perfectly and the flavor was awesome!! Double thumbs up from me and I will definitely be going there again.

I went there for the first time. People are extremely delightful. Great service. Would recommend going for a family trip.
